One brief, one build, one site that does not drift
Strategy Sprint
A two-week engagement that produces a site architecture document, content inventory, and a written brief ready for design. Useful if you have a developer in place but need the thinking done first. Delivered as a Figma file and a PDF report.
£1,800Foundation Site
Strategy, UX design, and Webflow build for a site of up to eight pages. Includes two rounds of design feedback, a staging environment, Lighthouse audit, CMS training video, and a 30-day fix window post-launch. Typical timeline is eight to ten weeks.
From £5,800Custom Build
For projects that need a custom backend, API integrations, or a content architecture beyond what a standard CMS handles. Built in Next.js. Scoped individually after a discovery session. Includes all deliverables from the Foundation Site package.
From £9,500Brand and Site Bundle
Identity work (logo, type, colour, usage guide) combined with a Foundation Site build. The two phases run sequentially: brand first, then site. Saves approximately three weeks compared to commissioning them separately.

What clients say
"Megan sent us a scope document before we had even agreed a fee. That told us everything we needed to know about how the project would go."

"We had a site built cheaply two years ago and it was a mess. Crag Mesh Zone rebuilt it properly and explained every decision. The new site loads in under two seconds and we actually understand how to update it."

When to Rebuild Your Website Versus Just Redesigning It
The most expensive thing a business can do with its website is rebuild it when a redesign would have done the job. The second most expensive thing is redesign it when the underlying structure is the actual problem. We have seen both, and this is how we help clients figure out which situation they are in before any work starts.

How to Write a Digital Brief That Gets Results
Most digital projects that go over budget or over time started with a brief that was too vague to build…
How we work
- One brief at a time
- We read every brief twice before we respond. The first pass is for facts. The second is for what is actually being asked. Most projects start with a 45-minute call and a written scope document before any design begins.
- Strategy before pixels
- We map user journeys, content hierarchy, and conversion logic on paper before opening a design tool. The visual layer comes last, not first.
- Handoff that works
- Every site ships with a recorded walkthrough, a plain-English CMS guide, and a 30-day window for small fixes. We do not disappear after launch.
"Megan Brayshaw studied graphic design at Leeds Arts University, graduating in 2010, then spent two years in a small print studio before moving into digital work. She joined a Manchester-based agency in 2014, where she led UX on a range of retail and professional-services accounts. In 2018 she left to found Crag Mesh Zone, initially as a solo practice. She has a particular interest in information architecture and the point at which visual design and content strategy overlap. Outside the studio she runs long distances on fell terrain, which she says has more in common with project planning than most people expect."
